Halloween Festivities

This weekend we started preparing for Halloween! One last visit to the fair for Me and Jonathan Friday night, pumpkin patch on Saturday and decorating pumpkins today.

At the pumpkin patch, Liam was way excited! He ran around on the hay bails, fed the animals, rode a pony, picked out pumpkins and played with the other kids. Me, Kristen and Krista took all the kids together. Our husbands were all busy with various other things, so we decided to make an event of it.

going to pay for our pumpkins
Since its too early to carve pumpkins and Liam cant really participate in the "carving" portion, we decided to do a few new things this year. We will carve pumpkins like we usually do, but that comes later. This weekend we put together "potato head" pumpkins! We got a Frankenstein and a skeleton. Then next weekend we will let Liam paint a pumpkin. This way he gets in on the fun! Jonathan and I are going to paint pumpkins too...to match his potato head pumpkins. :) Ill be posting more pictures on Halloween! haha

Yay, another finished pumpkin potato head!

He LOVES them, wants to hold them and move their arms! haha

We had another fun weekend. Many more to come and I will try to keep you posted! Hope you enjoyed catching up on our holiday fun!

Also, in the last 2 posts you have met many of the friends we consider family. I am sure you have heard me talk about them in several posts, but I tried to connect names with faces in the pictures. :)
