Reunion

Last weekend was a busy one!

First, the state fair came to town which includes Disney on Ice! It was Toy Story 3 and we took Liam to watch. He actually enjoyed it more than  I thought he would. The whole first half was a success. He pointed and clapped. He loved it! The second half was not as successful...between lunch time and nap time, he was getting fussy. Since we had a 3 hour drive to Ardmore ahead of us, we opted to leave the show early, grab some grub and let Liam sleep during the drive. While we were out getting food, we walked around the fair and even played on a GIANT slide! It was sooo fun.

After the fair, we drove to Ardmore and stayed the night with my mom, Nana. Its been a while since she has seen Liam, so we just stayed at the house and played.

Saturday, we drove to Texas to Jaylynn and Aarons house. Jacqui and Lily were coming in from California that day, so we, and several other friends, got together to surprise them! It has been almost 2 years since I visited California, when Lily was just 2 weeks old and I was 3 months pregnant. Now she is 2 years old! It was SOOOO good getting to see everyone and get caught up. It wasnt nearly long enough, but we made the best of it.

Even just writing this makes me sad to know that Jacqui and Lily are heading back to California, but we were so glad to see them while they were here. We miss everyone!! Living here in Tulsa makes it a little harder to see everyone, but its not an excuse...we should all work a little harder to get together more often. :)
