GingerBread House Contest

I forgot to mention in my last post about our contest at work. Every year we have a gingerbread house contest with all the depts and our patients vote. Everyone gets really elaborate and creates really fun houses/scenes. In the past, our dept has always done a version of our dept. So it was always PT related or just looked like a gym...which was really cool, but this year we went above and beyond!!! We decided to go all out and create a winter olympic stadium. We have a program we call Motion For Life, so we called our log cabin Motion For Life and the theme was "A Winner Wonderland." Since this year was the winter Olympics we found it fitting. :) We had a Half Pipe with at snowboarder, a ski jump, slalom (sp check) and speed skate. We had all sorts of little sayings that were related to beating cancer, as if cancer were the opponent. Really fun! Anyways the voting was this last week and we havent found out who the winner is yet, but we think we did great regardless of who wins!!! Here are a few pics.
