Relaxing

There hasn't been much going on in our household the last couple of days, but we did recently have some great things happen to us! When we sold our house, we were told we would receive the total amount of our escrow in check form within a few weeks. Well...it took more than a few weeks but we did get it on Thursday. :) At my work, we get a bonus check every year and that came on Friday! :) Needless to say, we are not stressing about the "mandatory" down payment on our house now! It is so nice to know that whatever we save from here on out for the next few months will be extra down payment for the house (which we really need) and some savings for baby stuff. We knew that we could save the amount of money we needed, but it was going to be close and to know that what we need is not as big of a problem just takes a huge weight off of our shoulders. We had to dish out check after check when we sold our house for various things and it completely dwindled our savings for the new house. We felt like we just couldn't catch a break. After selling our house and moving into tight quarters here at the apartment, nothing but good things have been happening for us. We are so happy with the path our life is taking us and I just wanted to share it!
