First visit at the Zoo

Today we took Liam to the Tulsa Zoo for the first time. We decided to wait until Liam was old enough to actually enjoy the zoo before we took him. It was for him, not us! He had a pretty good time. It was very hot today, so we didnt take as much time as we would have liked, but Liam didnt fuss too much. We took lots of cool water and some damp, cool wash cloths for him. When we let him out of the stroller, he ran all over the place as excited as he could be! We let him ride the carousel for the first time as well, and it was at HIT! The operator suggested Liam ride a stationary animal to make sure that he liked the carousel on the first try, then if he liked it (which he did), then he would let us ride a second time for free and one of the animals that move up and down...he loved it even more! On our way out, we stopped by the gift shop so we could buy something to commemorate our first trip to the zoo. It was a kiddie cup with a fun swirly straw (since Liam is currently in love with drinking from straws).
