Blast from the past...In California!

Jacqui, one of my grade school friends, just had a baby girl a few weeks ago. Her name is Lily. :) Jaylynn (another great friend) and I went to visit her in San Diego/Oceanside, California. We had a great time just relaxing around the house and visiting with each other and playing with the baby (when she was awake...LOL) It was so nice to catch up and not be stressed about being on the go. I know Jacqui thinks we were just being nice when we said we didn't mind hanging out around the house, but we truly enjoyed it. We watched scary movies, ate A LOT and hung out in our pj's. Liliana Marie was 2 weeks old when we visited her. Jacqui is a first time mom doing a fantastic job! It's so neat to watch our friends grow into who they are and to see how they will shape their children to be who the will be. It was nice to talk to her about her pregnancy and of course she told me a few of those "what no one else tells you" secrets. haha. I hope I don't have the swelling she had. :( Jaylynn is hoping to get pregnant soon, so it was fun to even share with her, what she might go through too. She asked me to write it all down. haha What happened when, so she will expect it! I can't wait to be in Jacqui's shoes sharing my experiences with Jay.
